LASIK Flap Made with IntraLase Laser

February 20th, 2010 by lasik

This video shows the LASIK flap being made with an intralase laser. The intralase laser makes a series of tightly spaced cavitation bubbles rather than using a blade to make the flap. Our newest intralase laser makes a flap in about 15 seconds.

I’m so glad I didn’t watch this before my surgery. I just had this done two days ago. Total time in proceedure was 3 minutes for two eyes.
