+1.0 Overcorrected after Lasik

Ratan writes…I had my Lasik last saturday. My right eye is now OK (originally -4.5) but left eye(origanlly -5.5) is now +1.0 (from the next day), the doctor tells me that it will regress back to normal. Does that really happen or is he just biding time?
