Sorry you feel it’s bitching. I’m trying to help you to educate yourself that every LASER is dangerous. The FLAP is permanent and never heals, rather like a Tupperware lid. The microkeratome blade slashes corneal nerves, most never heal, therefore your eyes (even though you have no contacts) aren’t able to produce enough natural tears, leaving LASIK victims (from good or bad docs) with a burning sensation and “dry eye spots” never to be cured. Youtube Search: FDA LASIK.

uhh why dont you just make sure its a laser that works and stop bitching

Stay positive even if lasik dont work for you be happy for those that benifits from it..

  10. Mauivavi said:

so what you are saying is that NONE will benefit from LASIK? LOL

Well, other than the constant annotations which pretty repeated themselves, I feel that this video is an excellent warning to anyone who thinks about getting LASIK surgery.

  15. dkantis said:

Every surgery has risks, just make sure that you are aware of what makes you a bad risk versus a good risk patient candidate. Get all of the facts. Go see many doctors and ask questions. Ask them if there are any non-surgical ways to fix this, with drops that do not further hurt your eyes…many of the drops, are detrimental to your eyes and could cause Retinal Detachment if used long term (i hear). Good luck.

  16. dkantis said:

Thank you…i care, that is why i want you to fully informed of the truth, so that YOU can protect yourself and continue to live a great life with excellent visual clarity….something that diminishes after having LASIK, creation of a permanent FLAP that never heals, permanent Dry Eye problems needing drops every hour, and of course, electing to pay a LASIK Dr $5k to do this to you and thin your cornea out, something that accelerates the aging process of your precious eyes!! Spread the word…

  17. sugarcane91 said:

Is Laser treament for Retinal Detachment safe?? What are the better procedures not using a laser?

  18. RishavR said:

    Thanks for the video Dkantis.

I marked your comments on the “best lasik testimonial” video as not spam.

    Scary stuff man.

  19. netjdm23 said:

The solution is to have prk. It has the same visual results without the negative side effects of lasik. Make sure you are consulting an ophthalmologist to do your surgery, and that they are a cornea specialist. Anyone having a screeing by lasik plus or tlc laser centers is just asking for a problem. Please see real doctors who are wanting to do the best for your eye! and not wanting just to make money.

See a Cornea Specialist not a corner store optometrist!!!!!

  20. dkantis said:

LASIK is not a permanent fix and your eyes change every 5 years. Make sure you understand this. Do you know that you’re electing to pay a Lying LASIK Quack and their commissioned staff, $4k to permanently slice a FLAP into both of your eyes, leaving your eyes dryer than the previous year, getting worse every year, causing you MUCH pain. Hence the reason the FDA’s website warns everyone: “the number one complication from ALL LASIK procedures is permanent Dry Eye Pain…” You’ve been warned!
