Is it normal to see floaters after eye surgery?

November 23rd, 2008 by lasik

Alphaeus P asked:

Recently, my optometrist found a tear on my retina and advised me to have eye surgery. She mentioned something about lattice?? Anyways, she said that the surgery will repair the tear and eliminate floaters. Before surgery, I rarely saw floaters; now, I constantly see 3! Is this normal?
